We’re on the lookout for a switched-on Quality Assurance Field Officer to join our clients asphalt crew in Welshpool. If you're good with numbers, thrive outdoors, and love keeping things running like clockwork, this is your chance to join the action on some of WA’s biggest road projects.

This role is Monday – Sunday on day and night shifts with overtime available! Shifts can start as early as 3am and run for 10–12 hours. The pay rate for this role is $39.25-$42.81 per hour, depending on experience (inclusive of 25% casual loading) plus penalties applicable on night shifts, weekends and overtime!

Key Duties:

  • Track and log incoming asphalt truck movements
  • Cature photos and data
  • Record delivery info (truck rego, load number, tonnage, etc.)
  • Calculate job site areas, volumes & spread rates
  • Flag delivery issues or delays to the crew in real-time
  • Communicate with the plant, paver/roller operators & foreman
  • Keep high-quality records and support compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • Confident with basic maths — quick with numbers & happy to do on-the-go calculations
  • Keen eye for detail and problem solving
  • White Card – Essential
  • C Class Driver’s Licence – Essential
  • MR Licence – Highly Desirable
  • Previous civil/asphalt/site exposure – Bonus
